Barrenjoey has been made aware of a scam currently underway where members of the public are being approached by individuals fraudulently representing themselves as our employees to pitch fake investment schemes. This offer is supported by fake marketing materials that make unauthorised use of Barrenjoey’s corporate branding.
Barrenjoey does not offer investment products to members of the public and does not have any connection to anyone offering these products.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind Australians to be vigilant at all times when contacted by an unknown party offering investment opportunities. If you receive an email or message that claims to be from Barrenjoey, but looks suspicious, please forward it, along with any attachments to infosec@barrenjoey.com.

Erin Tinker

Corporate Finance

Erin works in our Corporate Finance team advising clients in the general industrials sector and providing expertise on mergers and acquisitions to support large and complex transactions.
Before joining Barrenjoey, Erin had a career spanning almost 20 years across investment banking, corporate development, strategy and business leadership. She joined from Macquarie Bank where she was Head of Growth in the Business Banking division and prior to that co-led Macquarie Bank’s Corporate Development and Strategy division. Previously, Erin was the General Manager of Strategy and Development at SUEZ. She initially gained her investment banking experience at UBS Australia as a Director advising clients in the general industrials and infrastructure sectors. Erin started her career at Allens as a lawyer where she advised on a number of high profile M&A transactions.
Erin was a Director of Women in Banking and Finance from 2015 to 2021. She is a University Medalist with a Bachelor of Commerce / Law from the University of Sydney.
