We have been made aware of a scam that involves individuals fraudulently representing themselves as employees of Barrenjoey to pitch fake investment services to members of the public. Barrenjoey does not offer any investment services to the public and anyone who is approached by any individual purporting to be from Barrenjoey should report the matter to ASIC or their local police as soon as possible. FIONA HICK APPOINTED TO BARRENJOEY BOARD

The Independent Chairman of Barrenjoey Capital Partners David Gonski AC today announced that Ms Fiona Hick will join the Barrenjoey Board effective immediately.


As Barrenjoey’s fourth non-executive Director, Perth-based Ms Hick joins former Reserve Bank Governor Dr Philip Lowe, former Federal Cabinet Minister Kelly O’Dwyer and Mr Gonski, alongside representatives of Barrenjoey’s shareholders and management.


Ms Hick is a non-executive Director of Infrastructure WA, Dyno Nobel and Evolution Mining, and has held senior executive roles across the mining and energy sector including at Fortescue Metals Group, Woodside Energy and Rio Tinto.


Mr Gonski said that as a proven senior leader in the mining and energy sector, Ms Hick’s appointment will strengthen Barrenjoey’s engagement with the resources sector.
