Barrenjoey has announced its first project under the ‘Barrenjoey Foundation’ banner – helping Yolgnu children achieve their potential through our support of Dhupuma Barker, a new independent school in the Gunyangara community of East Arnhem Land. The school opened in 2021 to offer 35 children from kindergarten to Year 6 a bilingual education with a culturally relevant curriculum specifically designed for the Yolgnu community.
