We have been made aware of a scam that involves individuals fraudulently representing themselves as employees of Barrenjoey to pitch fake investment services to members of the public. Barrenjoey does not offer any investment services to the public and anyone who is approached by any individual purporting to be from Barrenjoey should report the matter to ASIC or their local police as soon as possible. What’s your role at Barrenjoey?

I work in Barrenjoey’s Electronic Execution team. My job is to provide our clients with the best tools in the equity market to trade and then advise them on how to use them. Our team is doing what few in Australia have attempted. We are building a complete client trading platform from scratch. It is an exciting proposition and early signs on algo performance are very positive. Building these requirements into a platform is exciting and meticulous, and I am currently working alongside our exceptional execution and tech teams as well as some external consultants to help bring our vision to life.

What did you do before joining Barrenjoey?

I worked at Macquarie in their Electronic Execution team. Before that I studied a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Economics at the University of Sydney.

What do you do when you’re not at work?

Outside of work I love to stay active, eat great food, bake, eat what I bake and most importantly spend time with my friends and family. I cannot wait to continue travelling again.
